An INSPIRE related invitation to tender entitled has been published

An INSPIRE related invitation to tender entitled „development and prototyping of INSPIRE technical
specifications for air, water, waste and biodiversity environmental monitoring facilities“ has been
published 24th July 2007.

In the context of the infrastructure, rules and tools for data sharing in the Shared Information
Environmental System, the project will contribute to the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive through
the development of the INSPIRE technical specifications on meta-data and data specifications for the
data theme „Environmental monitoring facilities“ (EMF) and more specifically for the air, water, waste and
biodiversity thematic areas. These specifications will be used as input for the development of the
INSPIRE implementing rules. In addition the project will prototype and promote INSPIRE network
services.
