HFT Stuttgart nnounces that they organise an AGSE workshop in Puebla / Mexico as part of the second Smart Data and Smart Cities conference 4.-6. October 2017.

The conference will be 4. and 5.10.2017, the AGSE workshop will be on Friday, 6.10.2017. A detailed program of the conference will be published soon by the local chairs at http://ing.pue.itesm.mx/udms2017/.
Workshop:

For the workshop, it would be great if all participants can prepare a short presentation about their current field of work and interest. An 1 page abstract would be nice as well.

Fees:

As the workshop is part of the conference, it is included in the conference fees. Early bird rate is 350- Euros, and 400,- Euro for registration later than 25.8.2017. There will be a very low students rate as well, but I guess, most of you are not students any more. But we agreed with the local chair that we can give some scholarships, mainly for people working in public administration. The scholarship will reduce the conference fees. Please send a request to get a scholarship to the local chair: David Sol, Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education Campus Puebla, Mexico (dsol@itesm.mx) and cc to Prof. Coors (volker.coors@hft-stuttgart.de).

Travel costs can not be covered by the scholarship.

Hope to see many of your in Puebla in October.

If you have further questions, please do contact Prof. Dr. Volker Coors (Volker.Coors at hft-stuttgart.de)

  1. As you might know the earthquake that occurred on September 19th, 2017, affected central Mexico including the City of Puebla. The damages in Puebla are in some specific locations and in general the City is in good conditions, and rapidly recovering to normality. After consulting with the International Scientific Committee we confirm that the conference will take place as planned, October 4-6, 2017, in Puebla, Mexico. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact the Local Organizing Committee
