The Department of Geography invites applications for a tenure track
faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a specialty in
geographic information science (GIScience) and geographic information
systems (GIS). We seek candidates who will further strengthen the
teaching, research, and service programs of the Department. The ideal
candidate would have a substantive emphasis on human-environmental
interaction/change or a related field such as population and/or health.

complete curriculum vitae, 3) reprints of published works, and 4) the

referees.
Candidates are encouraged to explore the background and interests of
faculty within the Department as well as relevant programs around campus

application, candidates should describe how they can make a contribution
to the teaching, research, and service missions of the Department
specifically and to the University more generally. The University is
