This is just a last call to attend this year"s SVG Open including
some more detailed information on the location, the dinner-event and
the conference itself. We are running short of available seats so
please make sure to go ahead and make your reserveration real soon!
The SVG Open will take place at the Maritim Hotel in Nuremberg,
Germany (see
http://svgopen.org/2008/index.php?section=conference_location.
The opening of the conference is Tuesday, 26th August 2008 at 9:00 am.
The ending of the conference is Thursday, 28th August 2008 at 7:00 pm.
The
workshops
will take place at Friday, 29th August 2008 and do
require explicit registration.
The registration for the workshops can still be done when entering
the SVG Open in Nuremberg.
At Tuesday, the 26th August 2008 we will start off with a word of our
2nd mayor of Nuremberg at 9:00 am. After that, we"ll might have a little event which should contain
the "biggest brezel ever baken". We are
currently figuring this one out though it should be at least of 2x2
meters of size and serve for a comfortable breakfast.
At the evening of the 26th August 2008 (the first day) we"ll have a
bavarian dinner event. Please note that this
event is not "just" a dinner event as you might used to but instead
it features an exclusive bavarian buffet,
bavarian music, a 50l barrel of beer (other drinks are available
too), an unique backdrop and a few
bavarian games you can take part in and win a great price. We really
encourage everyone to take part in this
dinner event as you might not want to miss it.
